The Summer Instrumental Music Collaborative (SIMC) for wind, string, and percussion students entering grades 5 through 9 will be held from Monday, June 27th to Friday, July 8th, 2022.
The program hours are from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm Monday through Friday (Monday, July 4th will be off due to Independence Day).

TIME 8:15 am - 12:15 pm LOCATION Ahern Middle School, Foxboro, MA TUITION 2 Weeks - $250.00 per student 1 Week - $220.00 per student Family members are invited to attend a concert to be held at 10:00AM on the last day of the program in the Ahern Auditorium. |

NOTES
- Parents will be responsible for transporting students to and from SIMC.
- Snacks are available for purchase during break time.
- The cost of registration includes a T-shirt for each participant.
Faculty
The summer program faculty members are looking forward to working with your children in their pursuit of becoming better musicians. These adults will be assisted by outstanding college and high school musicians who will serve as program counselors.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Instrumental & Choral MusicIt is our goal for all participants to receive a positive musical experience in a variety of group performance areas including: Concert Band, String Orchestra, Small Group Sections, Chamber Music Ensembles, Instrumental Technique, Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band. Students may choose one of two tracks for the program: Instrumental or Choral (selected during the registration process).

A TYPICAL DAY'S SCHEDULE
|
In order to provide a well-balanced experience, the daily schedule will include recreational activities such as: kickball, capture the flag, Frisbee, volleyball, Spirit Days, and a scavenger hunt.
